研究方向与专长：

主要研究领域是消化系统（食管，胃，结直肠）恶性肿瘤的诊断与外科手术为基础的规范化综合治疗，达芬奇机器人微创消化系统手术，超低位直肠癌保肛手术，食管癌，胃癌标准，规范化微创手术，并专注于肺癌，乳腺癌及肿瘤前沿临床试验的研究及外科微创手术机器人研发。

工作简历：

医学博士，主任医师，教授，博士研究生导师。现任肿瘤外科主任。兼任西安交通大学机械学院硕士研究生导师。2000年毕业于西安交通大学医学院，2002年攻读硕士学位期间成为我校跨学科（外科学-肿瘤学）提前攻读博士学位的首位研究生，2003年作为我校第一位联合培养的医学博士生被选拔到日本大阪大学医学部攻读博士学位。2007年获陕西省自然科学优秀科技学术论文一等奖(排名第一)，2009年获陕西省青年突击手称号，2010年获第八届陕西青年科技奖，2011年获第十届陕西青年五四奖章提名奖，2011年获得中华医学会颁发的“中华肿瘤明日之星”称号，科研成果获得陕西省教委科技进步一等奖(排名第一)，陕西省科技进步三等奖(排名第一)。多年来获得日本文部省奖学金（JASCO），澳洲及亚太肿瘤学会奖学金（ACORD）,英国癌症研究会奖学金（CR-UK），瑞士肿瘤基金会青年学者奖（SONK。主持国家自然科学基金2项，教育部博士点基金，教育部人文社科基金及陕西省自然科学基金8项，参编专著1部，主译专著2部，在国际期刊发表研究论著31篇（SCI）。拥有多项发明专利，主持多项跨学科肿瘤临床试验研究，担任多本国际期刊审稿专家。主持创建了中国人群消化道肿瘤社会环境及生物因素生物样本库及队列(CN GI-BioBank & Cohort Study).

Biographical summary

Dr. Yong Zhang is a M.D.& Ph.D., Chief Medical Officer, Professor of surgical oncology (primary), School of Medicine and Professor of the Department of Intelligent Robots, School of Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Zhang is Ph.D. Supervisor and is currently the Chief of Surgical Oncology. He graduated from the School of Medicine of Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2000. In 2002, he became the first graduate student in our university to advance his doctoral degree in the interdisciplinary program (Surgery-Oncology) and in 2003, he was selected to be the first joint medical doctoral student from our university to study his PhD at the Faculty of Medicine of Osaka University in Japan. In 2007, he obtained first prize (ranked first) for outstanding scientific and technical academic papers in natural sciences in Shaanxi Province, was awarded the title“Shaanxi Young Shock Worker”in 2009, achievedthe eighth Shaanxi Youth Science and Technology Award in 2010, and was nominated for the 10th Shaanxi Youth Five Four Medal. In 2011, he was awarded the title of " Rising Star of China's Tumor” by the Chinese Medical Association, and his scientific research achievements were awarded the First Prize (ranked first) of Scientific and Technological Progress of Shaanxi Provincial Education Committee and Third Prize (ranked first) of Scientific and Technological Progress of Shaanxi Province ).

Over the years, he was awarded scholarships from Japan (JASCO), Australia & Asia Pacific Clinical Oncology Research Development Workshop (ACORD), Cancer Research UK (CR-UK) and St. Gallen Oncology Conferences (SONK). He hosted 2 National Natural Science Funds, 2 Doctoral Funds of the Ministry of Education, 8 Humanities and Social Science Funds of the Ministry of Education and 8 Natural Science Funds of Shaanxi Province. He has edited one monograph, translated two monographs, and published 31 research papers in international journals (SCI).He holds two China patents associated with his research. He has presided over several interdisciplinary oncology clinical trial studies and served as a reviewer for several international journals. He has also presided over the creation of the CN GI-BioBank & Cohort Study, a biobank of socio-environmental and biological factors of GI tumors in Chinese population.

Diagnosis of malignant tumors of the digestive system (including esophageal cancer, gastric (stomach) cancer, colon and rectal (colorectal) cancer,) and comprehensive treatment based on surgical procedures.

Minimally Invasive Gastrointestinal Surgery with the da Vinci Robot.

Anus-preserving surgery in advanced low-lying rectal cancer.

Esophageal and gastric cancers standard and standardized minimally invasive surgery.

Focus on lung cancer, breast cancer and oncology cutting-edge clinical trials and minimally invasive surgical robotics development.
